West Winder Bypass

SEI is teaming with Precision Planning, Inc. providing traffic engineering services as part of the design team for the West Winder Bypass Project. The project will provide a bypass route on the west side of the City of Winder from SR 316 to SR 211 and proposes a grade-separated railroad crossing at the intersection of the West Winder Bypass and SR 8. As the project traffic engineer, SEI will be responsible for providing the design traffic projections and traffic control and operational requirements for all existing and newly designed intersections along the project length.

Specific project tasks include traffic data collection, regression analysis and traffic forecasting, operational analysis, roundabout design and analysis, TE study and concept report production, traffic-signal design, and interchange swap.
