Throughout this project SEI provided construction layout, asbuilt location and topographic mapping for the ALSF (High Intensity Approach Lighting System) for runway 27L. Layout included staking of maintenance pads, lighting foundations and duct banks. The staking of lighting foundations was especially critical due to horizontal and vertical tolerances. Establishment and verification of existing site control was required to maintain continuity with other airport projects. In this case, published plan coordinates did not match existing site conditions requiring further information and adjustment.
