Founded in 1996 by Teresa Epple, Southeastern Engineering, Inc. has a solid and well-established reputation in the engineering community. In January 2024, Cedric D. Clark, PMP, and Scott Jordan, PE, acquired Southeastern Engineering, Inc. a well-known DBE firm with 26 years of engineering excellence. Since that time, they have reimagined Southeastern Engineering into their own vision as a premier minority owned DBE provider. Cedric Clark, President, joined Southeastern in May 2015 and has worked to build the Program Management Division. Scott Jordan, Vice President, joined Southeastern in September 2015 and has worked to build the Transportation Division.
Cedric and Scott began their transportation careers at the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT). Cedric, with 25 years of experience in the transportation project management and planning industry in Metro Atlanta, has overseen a wide variety of public sector projects from concept through construction. Cedric is also an active member of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Georgia, ACEC National, and is a leadership council member for the National Small Business Association (NSBA). Scott brings over 25 years of experience in transportation engineering, including design, project management, program management, value engineering, and construction inspection for local, state, and federally funded infrastructure projects. Scott is also the former National Southeast Director of the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE).
Integrating their unique knowledge base, Cedric and Scott’s combined expertise makes Southeastern Engineering, Inc. the DBE of choice for the Southeast. With a deep bench of talent and resources, SEI can integrate into transportation projects quickly and effectively, delivering quality work in a timely manner. SEI is proud to serve a multitude of public clients and continues to uphold the legacy we have built over the last 26 years as we enter a new era of Leadership.
